Summer Day Camp
“I’m bored”…“There’s nothing to do!” - If you’d like to put those words to rest this summer, check out the YMCA Summer Camps offered at 21 locations throughout the city. The YMCA offers Outdoor Camp, Sports Camp,Traditional Camps and Fine Arts Camp. Preschool Camps: Fun & learning rolled into one
Bugs, plants, outer space, the zoo, water fun & more - Give your preschooler a terrific summer experience. Kids get a taste of camp in two-week sessions that include field trips, special guests, camp songs and arts and crafts as well as science, math, literacy and even cooking. Challenger's Adaptive Sports Help All Children Score!
The YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s inclusive programming offers the Challenger program with sports for special-needs kids (ages 5-16). Summer is here, but the time is now to sign up for fall sports at the Blue Springs YMCA. This fall we are offering flag football, soccer, bitty soccer & bitty flag football to players age 3-14 (varies by sport). The deadline to register for fall sports at the YMCA is Monday, August 25. YMCA Guest Policy
- Members over the age of 16 years old may bring one guest per visit.
- Each guest is asked to bring a photo ID and complete a guest pass.
- Guests may visit the YMCA three times per calendar year.
- Guests under the age of 13 should be supervised by a guardian who is 16 years of age or older.
- Guests visiting the YMCA are asked to either come in with a member or have a guest pass with them.
