Kid's Tumbling!
Youth Tumbling Classes (Ages 3 to 8) will be an ongoing program every Monday and Wednesday starting in August. All Tumbling classes develop youth fitness levels, self-esteem, and gross motor skills. 

Tumbling 1: Ages 3-4
                   Days: Tuesday and Thursday
                   Time: 10:45 -11:15am

Tumbling 2: Ages: 5-7
                    Days: Tuesday and Thursday
                    Time: 11:15 - 12 noon

4 sessions (one day week): Member $20 / Non-Member $25
8 sessions (two days a week): Member $30 / Non-Member $

Metabolic Assessments:

- EXERCISE METABOLIC TESTING: A process that will tell you how hard you should work out to improve your body's ability to burn fat. After the completion of this exercise test, a specific work out plan will be designed just for you. 

- RESTING METABOLIC TESTING: This process will tell you how many calories your body burns to function. Results will tell you how many calories you eat each day to gain, maintain, or lose weight.

Challenger's Adaptive Sports Help All Children Score!

Global Action Volunteer Project
July 19th, 9:30-10:30am:

International volunteers from around the world will be at Paul Henson YMCA to share about their native culture for our children! Don’t miss out on this exciting multicultural event! It is free to participate, but your child must be signed into our Child Watch program in order to join in the activities. Parents are welcome to come and observe your child's experience!

American Red Cross Babysitting Class
July 19th, 10-6pm:

Do you have an 11-15 year old? Do you have younger children that you want to protect by having a babysitter that is trained to handle the responsibiliy, and know of someone to recommend this class too? Participants will learn all the basics of babysitting and caring for children, and even receive certification in American Red Cross CPR!
Members: $30, Community participants: $40

Y-Day Mini Adventure! - “Bugs, Birds, and Botanicals!”
July 23rd, 1-4pm:

Come for an adventure YMCA style! We will have fun exploring the wonders of nature. Interactive crafts, games, stories, a fun snack and so much more! Ages 5-12

Summer Day Camp

“I’m bored”…“There’s nothing to do!”

If you’d like to put those words to rest this summer, check out the YMCA Summer Camps offered at 21 locations throughout the city.  The YMCA offers Outdoor Camp, Sports Camp, Traditional Camps and Fine Arts Camp.  We even have one for those finicky “tweens.”  Check with us for more info or read more at Summer Day Camp & Overnight Camps.

Swim Club
- Available for kids 5-18 who can swim the pool unassisted
- Swim club practices on Monday and Wednesday nights from 4-5pm
- Swim meets once per month
- Monthly Registration (join at any time)

 


YMCA Guest Policy  

  • Members over the age of 16 years old may bring one guest per visit.
  • Each guest is asked to bring a photo ID and complete a guest pass.
  • Guests may visit the YMCA three times per calendar year.
  • Guests under the age of 13 should be supervised by guardian who is 16 years of age or older.
  • Guests visiting the YMCA are asked to either come in with a member or have a guest pass with them.
