Preschool Camps: Fun & learning rolled into one
Bugs, plants, outer space, the zoo, water fun & more! Give your preschooler a terrific summer experience. Kids get a taste of camp in two-week sessions that include field trips, special guests, camp songs and arts and crafts as well as science, math, literacy and even cooking. Summer Day Camp
“I’m bored”…“There’s nothing to do!” If you’d like to put those words to rest this summer, check out the YMCA Summer Camps offered at 21 locations throughout the city. The YMCA offers Outdoor Camp, Sports Camp, Traditional Camps and Fine Arts Camp. Challenger Sports Programming
Help all children score! The YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s inclusive programming offers the Challenger program with sports for special-needs kids (ages 5-16). Do you know a child with autism, PDD or Asperger who might enjoy sports activities designed just for them? Please encourage their familes to contact the Y to learn about these unique opportunities. YMCA Guest Policy
With all of our friends and family in town we wanted to remind you of our guest policies.

Members over the age of 16 years old may bring one guest per visit.

Each guest is asked to bring a photo ID and complete a guest pass.

Guests may visit the YMCA three times per calendar year.

Guests under the age of 13 should be supervised by guardian who is 16 years of age or older.
- Guests visiting the YMCA are asked to either come in with a member or have a guest pass with them.
Inclement Weather Policy
If inclement weather occurs, YMCA programs and child watch will operate normal activity schedules as appropriate. In cases of extreme weather (ice or more than two inches of snow) please call your neighborhood YMCA or log on to www.kansascityymca.org for more information.
