Get Active at the YMCA
People of all ages and levels of physical fitness can find a health and fitness program at the YMCA. A variety of programs, including aerobics, cycling, strength training, personal training, kids tumbling, martial arts and more, are designed to help make you and your family strong physically, mentally and spiritually.
Get started with Y Fit, a program free to all members. The program includes one-on-one sessions with a health and wellness specialist to assess your current level of fitness, set goals based on the assessment and help develop an exercise program just for you.

The YMCA of Greater Kansas City’s health and fitness programs follow the national YMCA Activate America public health initiative, which focuses on promoting healthy living to millions of Americans. The YMCA offers health seekers resources for active, well-balanced lifestyles; provides community leadership to help reduce barriers and increase support for healthy living; and develops community partnerships to advance health and well being for all.
